Fullbrass Teapot?

Every year, I decide to draw at least one of those holiday pin-ups you see all the time. You know, a character posing for the camera in various festive outfits or similar. It's cheap, but fun. Yet every damn year I forget or just never gets it done, once again proving that ambition and a tiny attention span are mortal enemies.

And when I finally make a Halloween pin-up, it's barely related to the holiday at all. So in a desperate artistic move, I added a SPOOKY ORANGE BACKGROUND! It was damn fun to paint, though.

The actual foreground is supposed to be Mr. Teapot, the studly mechanic butler, dressing up as Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. I usually hate action/drama manga with a burning passion, but FMA is actually readable, and at times pretty good. But this is as mainstream as I go, I still have my standards. That, and Mr. Teapot looks very fancy in red and black.


Lastly this is not only a Halloween pic, but also my way to thank for drawing awesome surprise fanart ( [link] ) for a total stranger she found on the internet. Which makes Mr. Teapot yet another one of my random faceless robots that turns out to be a fangirl/boy-magnet, kinda like Master Blue. I suppose that means I have a hidden talent for accidentaly creating hunky automata? Either that or it's the whole "completely loyal servant who always obeys your orders, brews delicious tea and has a thing for victorian suits". Especially the suit part, I think.
